Matini Hostel offers a beautiful retreat with its minimalistic design, adorned with white furniture that adds a touch of elegance. The beds are not only clean but also remarkably comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. While the aesthetics and comfort are highlights, it's worth noting that the toilet facilities exclusively use bidets, which might be a drawback for some guests. However, the accommodating staff and overall pleasant atmosphere make Matini Hostel a suitable choice for a short stay. If you appreciate simplicity, this hostel is worth considering.

Had a great time in this hostel. Super neat and clean, newly built and has great spaces and luxurious look, very white and big glasses that allows a great lightened environment. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean white bed and bedding. Close to the train station (walking distance) and walking distance to Chatuchak weekend Market. There are a couple of metro stations also about 15min away by walk.

A very clean and comfortable hostel for staying one night here. The staff are very very friendly and helpful. It's safe to stay here because all doors can only open with a key card. Smoking in the backyard is allowed. The bed have own light and socket for charge your phone. The room is well conditioned and have a lockers for your luggage. It's recommended when you want travel the next day with the train or bus because the stations are close to the hostel.

This is not your average cheap hostel. Yes, it is cheap, but only in price. This is by far the best thought out hostel in which I stayed. There is a compartment for your stuff, the bed is spacious and the structure is solid, the interiors are well designed and everything is spacious. You feel like even if the whole thing is full it won't be a mess like in other hostels. The rules are very clear and everyone seems to follow them. This is not an hostel like many others in which people will arrive drunk in the early morning and wake you up. This is not the kind of hostel in which you feel powerless and see no point in complaining if something goes wrong. You can't go wrong with Matini.

Exit through gate 13, and it’s about a 10-minute walk.

How do you get from the hotel to Don Mueang Airport?

Walk to Bang Sue Station (10 minutes), then take the Red Line to Don Mueang Station, which takes around 30 minutes.

It’s about a 15-minute walk from the hostel to Chatuchak Weekend Market.

We recommend Or Tor Kor Market, a well-known hub for the best food and fruits in Thailand. It’s a 10-minute walk from the hostel. Alternatively, just next to the hostel, there is a legendary noodle shop famous in the Phahonyothin area.
